Isla had her first French fry today, and let’s just say she’s officially a fan! We decided to make a day of it and headed to Philly in search of a cheesesteak—not from the usual spots that everyone flocks to. After some exploring, we asked a local for a recommendation, and they couldn’t rave enough about where to go and what to order. The place didn’t disappoint—everything was fresh, and the flavors were next level. The cheesesteaks were so good we barely had time to snap a photo before they disappeared. The locals told us you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. What made it even better? The crew in the back—hilarious banter, and they seemed to know everyone who walked in. Honestly, they could have their own show. Huge thanks for the amazing hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!
Bread was real good. Seeded roll steak was fresh. No line. No wait. Was worth the stop. Gravy fries were also good. Staff was very friendly
Grabbed lunch from here. The cheese steak was very good. Great cooper sharp cheese and a nice seeded roll. Meat could have been seasoned a little more Not the best I've ever had but very good. The fries leave something to be desired. They were bland and soggy. Needed salt and ketchup to be edible at all. Overall pretty good.
This cheesesteak still haunts my dreams. It was perfection. It’s my phone’s lock screen image. It’s the pic I send my friends in California. It’s the GOAT of cheesesteaks. Enough said. You won’t regret it.
Had to spend the night in Philly because of trouble with some flights. Midnight, nothings open but wendy's, McDs & this place. Took the risk & ordered the Mushroom Cheesesteak with bacon & pickles. Early morning flight too... clearly a decision made by an exhausted man. Ate half, wish I could taken down the whole thing. If I'm ever in the same situation or area, I'll definitely be back.
Best vegetarian sandwich in Philadelphia. I get the veggie with Broccoli rabe, long hots, sharp provolone on a seeded roll. The price has gone up over the years with the quality has stayed the same.I try to get one whenever I’m in that area of South Philly so good thank you! Sometimes I get the egg version, which is also amazing. Just as good without cheese 10/10 recommend.
